Becoming a mother is one of the most difficult and rewarding life changes that any woman will ever experience. With the joy of new life comes a tremendous new set of challenges that are extremely difficult to navigate in the midst of sleep deprivation and hormonal changes. For many new moms, this transformation often feels overwhelming, and if left unsupported, it can subtly allow even the most resilient women to slip into depressive states. Society often depicts this period of a woman's life as totally blissful, but the reality is, it entails substantial deconstruction and reconstruction of identity, and this is almost impossible to do alone.
With two kids now, I can confirm that the first six months after your baby's birth will be, by far, some of the hardest. During this time, the focus most always shifts to baby's wellness only, meaning yours will often be neglected. I am here to offer coaching and guidance during this transition to motherhood, to help shift the focus back to you, because YOU are the most critical component of this system and if you're suffering, the whole system suffers.
Together we'll devise a sustainable self-care plan that includes weekly emotional check-ups, short and long-term survival strategies, attainable goals with a focus on how to redefine yourself so that you feel completely supported and understood on this new path. This service is offered online, because I know that on many days, it's impossible to get out of your pyjamas, let alone the house.
This care is all about you succeeding in the most important job you'll ever have.
